FINALLY about to start my MC build!

Hello all!

Got the word yesterday that my MC armor is on it's way! :D

So, as I haven't read through all threads in the forum yet, is there any threads you guys can recommend to read up on when it comes to piecing the armor together?

I know I will get instructions, but like in my R2 build, it is often more useful to read a good blog/thread to see what pitfalls to avoid, and ow to avoid them!

My bucket will come pre-assembled, so I've got the hard part done.

This is just for the body armor, and considering it's an MC armor, and the soft parts are up to specs, I may have the ability to go into Lancer with this..

Anyway, I'll definitely keep you guys updated in this thread, and any suggestions you may have are greatly appreciated!

thanks

Micke

That is always awesome news! The first (and one of the best) that comes to mind is PandaTrooper's build thread. He's got a bunch of really cool ideas and I think this would help you. There's a bunch of others on the site, but this one is fresh. Check it out...

For the MC armour, be sure to size the chest and back correctly. By that, I mean to make sure the shoulder straps aren't too long. I had to cut 1 inch from the chest straps and then heat them a bit to bend them into a more gradual curve. Be sure that you don't get a huge gap underneath those straps.

Other than that, good luck!
