Alright, here is my first boot build. Go easy on me. I am planning on working on the soles of the boots adding the screen accurate indentations and what not but I wanted to get any constructive criticism I could and see how I did. This is my first time sewing, and over all tailoring anything. I am very pleased with the way they turned out.

Thanks

Not too bad. What boots did you use for your base boot?

It is a military issue boot my buddy gave me after he came back from Afghanistan.

Not bad at all mate, my only critique would be they could have been tighter over the lace top section and the sole at the front is quite deep. But they will be just the job mate well done.

Did you use heat to stretch the toe covering? I use a heat gun and stretch them around 3-4 times pinning each time to get them tight.
