scoutjockie Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Ok I have started my Helmet Build, here are some pics. Let me know what you think, I hope I haven't stuffed it up. It was rather nerve racking glueing it. Quote

scoutjockie Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 looking good is this the new SC kit? Yeah I think it is the new helmet, the snout comes out more. Quote

Guest Colby Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Did you glue the bottom tips of the visor to the side of the faceplate? I've got the same bucket and am wondering if that's the thing to do haha Quote

Maelstrom Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Two questions. First what did you use to seem it? Second, what color (brand/type) did you use to repaint the helmet to match again? Okay well three questions, were you able to color match to the visor so that it would not require repainting? Quote
scoutjockie Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 Ok so i think Ive finished my Bucket? I do have a question though, is it better to make cut out above the snout rather than using the stickers? Quote
bwattsup Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Congrats! I can't wait til mine is finished. I like how you secured the snout detail with a screw. I might use that on my build. I'd probably replace the material inside the ears though with something solid black instead of mesh. As for the bridge of the nose, I've never seen a picture of the screen accurate helmet that had a cutout area. It's always been stickers/decals on every one. Check out the pics in the gallery. Quote
