sir david Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 hey guys ! ,as i am now cleared for 501st duty with my scout,i want to share my rifle build with you the donor gun is a Hasbro E-11 Stormtrooper blaster, converted to resemble an MG-34/DLT-19 as best as i could, whilst still retaining certain details of the Hasbro E-11's identity (i.e - the lights and sound ,trigger guard, and lower barrel) THE RECIEVER LENGTH IS SHORTER THAN IT SHOULD BE ON AN MG-34,but, again,i did it like that to retain some of the donor guns identity.... i weathered the gun using the "dry brushed" paint technique using humbrol silver, gunmetal, and satin black ....and got the inspiration for this from PANDATROOPER 'S awesome T-21 weathering tutorial on MEPD,which influenced me so much when i built my T-21 for my MEPD S.W.A.T deployment ,AND I NOW USE THIS TECHNIQUE NOW ON EVERY BLASTER I WORK ON OR BUILD ....TERRY.....YOU ROCK !!!!! anyway guys ....here are a couple of pics hope you approve :0) view through the scope Uploaded with ImageShack.us the stock/reciever assembly... Uploaded with ImageShack.us the full gun with T-Track (but,no bipod yet)... Uploaded with ImageShack.us ...and, some earlier ,W.I.P pics...... Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us before i made the new hand grip to cover the battery plate on the Hasbro..... Uploaded with ImageShack.us PANDA TROOPER is the inspiration here guys! ... Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us this was before i made the upper barrel section....
