Anyone purchased this? Wondering if its any good, from what iv read their armour alone isn't good. But maybe since it's all assembled they would put more effort into it :S ?

Might save me time and all if its any good, money isn't a real problem. But if it isn't quality i'll just go with SC armour and make it myself since I hear good things about them :)

I'd go with MC if money isn't an issue.

SC for a back up.

KS last option.

Just my opinions... ;)

KS is made from a strong plastic, the parts are quite good.

The chest is a bit too concave and wide[good for wide chested folks]

The back is the same width, the hump too big and hump greeblie too chunky

the drop boxes are huge, too big

the forearms ,biceps and kneeplates are good,

the belt is too long, the gap between the raised boxes is too wide

the kit has too many warps and bumps

it has decent return edges on the armour pieces.

The MC, SC and KS are all quite different, when they are out trooping together they all look great.

As Rick said above this is the common view of which armour is "best" although your size could sway your decision.

I can't give any opinion on the soft parts or how it comes prebuilt but good luck with your Biker Scout cossy Mathew.

I wouldn't order ks soft parts. Bund just doesn't seem good quality, and the pouches are way too big. Luke Rick said, if price isn't an option, go with MC. Be prepared to wait 6 months for it. Other then that, I'd go with SC. You can make a ks suit look good, but you'll put more work into it then the others.

Yeah iv already contacted some of the people on the Forums here for soft parts, so have no fear! (i saw ks soft parts and they seemed a little...off)

6 months is a bit long so perhaps SC is the best option so I can get in on the fun sooner :)

I just got KS armor today from a member here and I spent all day prepping it and cutting holes in it for the straps. A lot of work to be done on it still. Id go with the SC if I had to do it over again. Then I would at least have the velcro, straps, greeblies, etc.

Yeah, I was also going to suggest SC. I can't say anything about MC, though.

You *should* ideally have your armor within a few weeks if ordered through SC. And their customer service sets the bar high for anyone to live up to.

Im having to trim more off my armor for approval and wondering if anyone has pics of an approved KS suit? Of course I dont think the thigh boxes are workable, so going to look to SC for that.
