I don't get any steaming issues. and my mic is rigged up through my balaclava, going to my speakers and ROM board set in my pouches. I don't actually have any electronics set 'in' the bucket. Dart Posted May 22, 2012 Share Posted May 22, 2012 I've only got a squirrel fan in my helmet. I bought one of MonCal's hollow snouts, drilled it out and drilled a hole in my face plate. Hooked the fan up so the duct points upwards. Aside from giving me a bit of noise when my mic is close (which is always), it works well. Griffin-X Posted May 23, 2012 Share Posted May 23, 2012 I do not have anything inside mine. Since the scouts in the movie did not have an intercom like the TK-s, it made more sense to me. I've got a loud voice too so it's all good. I also find that the side vents provide good ventilation so I don't have any fans either. TB-7076 Posted June 10, 2012 Share Posted June 10, 2012 Cell phone buzzers are the speakers of cell phones - some are capable to produce quite some noise and their diameter of less than 20 mm makes them ideal to fit into the snout areator.
