TB0576 Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Hi Folks, since i am re-building my scout , i thought i might as well give building my boots a go as well.... but since this will be the first time doing this , i was wondering if anyone has or knows the right material / vinyl or leather to use for the covering and the weight/ thickness that i should be using. i know i can buy boots on here but i think i will learn more if i try and make my own so any help would be very much appreciate. Thank you for any advice offered.
4505Marcel Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 You will need a lightly textured marine grade vynil mate in white.

Guest OneNite Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 would upholstery vynil work? more importantly, would it be acceptable for "lancer" grade? its white semi-gloss, lightly textured, but very pliable...
