Hi Folks,

since i am re-building my scout , i thought i might as well give building my boots a go as well.... but since this will be the first time doing this , i was wondering if anyone has or knows the right material / vinyl or leather to use for the covering and the weight/ thickness that i should be using.

i know i can buy boots on here but i think i will learn more if i try and make my own so any help would be very much appreciate.

Thank you for any advice offered.

Thanks Marcel & Jim , i had seen that Tutorial before and looked at it but that was all LOL , didn't have the guts to try it back then but if i don't try i won't learn so i will give it a go.

so i wil go on the hunt for the white Vinyl first , Like i said Thanks again guys for your help and a swift reply.

would upholstery vynil work? more importantly, would it be acceptable for "lancer" grade? its white semi-gloss, lightly textured, but very pliable...
