MLC bolt covers?

Hello,

I own an MLC helmet which came with bolt covers, but not quite sure how to install them properly. Seems like the covers are too big for the hole and are not flush with the surface of the helmet. I've seen multiple threads on the bolt cover situation, but none specifically covering this particular brand. Here are some pics. Thanks in advance.

They don't sit flush, folks stick them to the bolt with various glues.

You could sand the cover down a bit to get a more flush looking effect or find a different cover plate.

Once it is on it looks fine.

Ah, my mistake. I saw one TB helmet in which they were flushed, didn't know they were met to stick out. Thanks!
