Guest CyraxLionheart
Hello! I have been lurking on the boards for a little while, I am a member on several SW costuming sites. I am attempting to help a friend get a costume together for a Con; it will essentially be a loaner as he will be heading out for a deployment at the end of the year. I have been working with Pepakura Models, Fiberglass, Bondo, etc; I was wondering has anyone ever attempted a Scratchbuild helmet? I am about into phase 2 of the helmet. based off of a 3d model. Griffin-X
Yep, I have seen several "home made" helmets using Pepakura.

ukscout
Looks good, just need to bondo the helmet and start sanding I take it the visor won't go up?
Guest Inferno
Hey thanks guys! Yes, it hadn't even occured to me when I started to make the visor go up, but I'm seeing that around a lot now. This my first build for the 501st so it's not too extravagant, I'm looking forward to finishing up the bondo though, messy stuff!
