I thought I saw a review of a few of the armor makers somewhere, but now I can't find it. Did I imagine it? If not could someone point me in the right direction?

There are a couple threads about armor comparisons and who-prefers-what....

And here's a 6-year-old, but excellent, comparison thread between 4 different propmakers armor offerings...

Anyone ever heard about armor-depot.com. Is it somebody from the bsn selling its work ? They sell hips armor and the helm is a resin / ABS mixture. And they claim to have the most accurate knee caps. So all their prizes are low i just wanted to know if anybody can tell me more about it.

Having the "most accurate knees" is hardly a claim to fame.

I'd be a bit wary of anyone who offers a "ready to wear" stormtrooper costume. People's bodies' are complicated and don't easily fit into categories such as XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL etc.

That armor does not look very accurate. I'd stay away from it. I know of only 3 good sources right now (MC, SC, and KS), but there are more popping up. Just be careful, look at the details (or lack of) before you buy.

The TD greeblies are part of the cast and aren't like the recent accurate ones.

Holster looks like it still needs a hole created for it and I'm not sure what that piece next to it is.

I've seen scouts in that armor in person, & IMO it just doesn't look very good.

The thermal detonator isn't even approvable. :(

I'd advise against it.
