Info on fiberglass helmet kits.

Really quick question for the masses.

 

Other then "Mardon" is there any others who make quality fiberglass helmets KITS Inexpensive.

Depends on your definition of inexpensive.

 

I think CUCblack does one. Or at least he did.

 

I can do one (although postage to the states and exchange rate would be the killer).

 

I'm sure there are a couple of others, but they escape me at the moment.

I'm actually in Canada.

Mardon charges 275us for the kit wit greebles.

I have found a few people who sell the abs helmets but am really only interested in a good sturdy fiberglass one.

if you want a fiberglass helmet because is stronger, you can buy an ABS kit and cover with fiberglass from the inside. I'm thinking to do on the complete armor this to prevent breaks

Yup, I did this with my Boba Fett helmet. But I am leaning more towards a nicely cast full fiberglass helmet.

Go with MLC (Mardon). That's what I have and it's a fantastic helmet. It doesn't feel like a costume piece at all. Feels like a real helmet.

I just received my MLC helmet in the mail and so far I'm impressed with it.
