holle
I know i´ve overdone the camopattern and the brown is too dark visor needs to be added and eye decals but would that color sceme and camo pattern pass 501st CRL´S? With Flash
darren1970
Personally I'd say its a little too "busy". I reckon more of the base coat should be visible.
Jimah
I agree. The 'less is more' principle applies for camo. Love the detail on the filter tips though!
TB-7076
If you're going by real world field-applied camouflage that would work but the camo seen in the movie is much cleaner due to the fact that the textures of the CGI models are artificial and even in high res renders tend to be blurred. I'd revisit the screenshots and existing CGI reference and change the technique. I think airbrush would work better than brushes.

Heatshock
- hey mate - we have already had pm discussions abt this - all that has been said about the busy-ness of the paint job is correct - I would disagree with the comments on the technique - brush with sponge is what it appears you have used, and it pretty good with the feathering on the edges compared to other 1st time attempts, I do not think that needs a re-do - the other matter is the brown being too rich. simple fix really, apply more base coat inbetween and lighten up the brown a bit more. Doesnt need a total sand and repaint imho Nate

Jimah
I agree with Nate. I used foam offcuts to sponge on my camo pattern. Worked well, if I say so myself. I'll get some images up in the reference gallery on this forum soon.
