Getting gloves/greebs

Recommended Posts

Like everything else with this build I am a just a little late getting to the dance. LOL I am getting ready to start on my gloves, I really like Grumpy's gloves, but as he has posted, he is taking a break from making them. Does any one know where I can get either the complete gloves or just the Greeb's for the gauntlet? I am not real handy with the sewing mahine, but I would be willing to take a stab at it, but without the greeb's I am stuck Any info thanks.

Thanks for the link, but this looks like the old list and half of these are not producing any longer. It has Mr. Bungle & PGHFett down as a vendor for armor, Mr Bungle and Acrylikhan as suppliers of greeblies and neither do. Grumpy is not currently making gloves. Not that I am complaining (because I have already been to these dead ends  ) just wondering if those vendors could be updated for the next guy coming up. I am sure they would appreciate the help as well. IMHO

Old List? Maybe - will update MB and Acrylikhan no longer supplying the greeb. You might have to scratch this yourself.

as for armour - as far as I was aware - Mr Bungle was on hiatus rather than packing it in completely? Pls note listing for pghfett armour. The listing is not only to point out suppliers, but what is "out there"

Type: PGHFett

Country: United States

Contact: not applicable

Website: not applicable

Kit: Fibreglass

Availability: Not currently available, but kits are in circulation.

Assembly: Armour needs trimming and assembly. Some early kits were only upper armour. Few come complete with the knees, shins and toe caps.

also note Grumpy's entry

Type: Grumpy

Country: United States

Contact: Grumpy on BSN

Website: http://forum.bikersc...?showtopic=7754

Kit: need to supply Gauntlet greeblie (see below)

Availability: Maker dependent, pls pm direct for details

Assembly: Occasionally maker has greeblies in stock, alternatively, greeblies supplied from MB can be forwarded to maker and gloves made.

unfortunately - unlike the more established costumes like TKs and TBs, we only have a small list of vendors who more of less do things ad hoc (guess also cos of the small demand). AFAIK it was dependent on Grumpy's time and glove base availability? Are you saying he no longer makes gloves at all?

will contact him direct and ask; but up to then, he was the only member actually offering to do this at all.

Nate

PM sent to Comm Tech

PM sent to Heatshock.

--------------------------------------------------

I'm still around, but it will take some time to get rolling again. My family and job always come first. I make the gloves in my spare time. Please be patient.

Darth "Real Life" has been calling on me many times, lately. I have to answer.

When I am good to go, I will post an interest listing. I will post it in the proper For Trade/ For Sale forums.

I already have four or five names that spoke interest from late last year.

I will send out a pm at a later date to those that asked about the CB gloves.

I hope to be able to make a complete glove. (Ready to wear.) Plus, I need to modify a few things on it.

Again, just please be patient.

Matt (grumpy)

(Sorry about hi-jacking the thread.)

END OF LINE.
