Grimlock
I have several questions that I couldn't find in the different build threads and tutorial. 1. How to apply base coat? I see two ways, one is the satin latex paint that MB discussed in the tutorial. (is that done by brush, spray, airbrush?) second way I saw was the Rustoleum paint "fossil"? 2. How to glue the rubber pieces? CA, E-6000? 3. How to paint the rubber pieces? spray, brush, airbrush? 4. How to glue the resin pieces? CA, E-6000? 5. Drop boxes, paint as is? or use the fabric that used on the cod then paint?
Heatshock
(1) I too had the paint mixed up specially in the UK. I used it slighty watered down with a good quality brush to reduce streaks. 2-3 layers, some light sanding again to get rid of the streaks. Fossil rattlecan works well too, but misses out on the subtle green tint that the custom mix has. (2) I used E6000 to match the flexibility of the rubber parts - I presume you mean the belt? (3) standard automotive rattle can. I rubber some acetone on the rubber and lightly sanded it. Although I think JUST lightly sanding would do too. The black holes in the inserts in the belt I brushed on (4) Zap-a-gap or another high quality CA glue. E6000 works fine too (5) drop boxes should be wrapped in multi-cam camo cloth and appropriately weathered with black and grey misting Nate
Grumpy
I have several questions that I couldn't find in the different build threads and tutorial. 1. How to apply base coat? Drop boxes, paint as is? or use the fabric that used on the cod then paint? On both my wife's build and Tunnel Rat's build: 1. I used a spray can and had to blend a little to get the base coat to match the samples. I don't trust a brush in my hand on that large of a surface for something such as this. A tiny brush for the camo and small details, yes, but no big brushes for me. Each person will find a way to make it work. And, like Heatshock said, you'll want to get that slight green tint to it. A green wash might work, but too much will make it too green. 2. I used E-6000 to glue the rubber greeblies onto the left bicep. Completely paint and camo the armor before attaching the greeblies. I attached the belt directly to the cummerbund. 3. I used a grey primer spray for the rubber greeblies. (So they would all match.) I didn't paint the belt. (It didn't like me.) And I used a black permanent marker to fill in the squares on the belt. And the tank topper, even though it's resin, will be painted black, of course. 4. E-6000 for the resin pieces also. 5. Do what Heatshock said with the camo fabric and spray misting for the weathering. You will get through this!

Grimlock
Seems like a missing something on the helmet. On the mouth vent on the helmet, I am missing two of the circular disks. Where do I get those?

Grimlock
Nate, I made sure I took everything out of the box, doubled and tripled check and no helmet greebs. I will check with MB on those.
