Guest troopermanx
Just seen these for sale on e##y http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Biker-Scout-Trooper-Style-Boots-Vinyl-501st-Prop-Armor-/290585816049?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item89600129f2#ht_1327wt_1163 You would still need to cut the soles out tho
Chef
And at that cost.... You'd have to be mental if you're from this side of the pond.

BananoPower22
Shipping to Puerto Rico is not that bad. I might consider these for when I start on my Storm Commando/Shadow Scout.
Chex
That shipping is rediculous. Shouldn't cost more then $20. If you're in the US, just go with Witness. He cuts the soles and everything, and you're also supporting a fellow scout. If you're across the pond, see our DL Marcel. You can't go wrong with either of them, and you know it's done right. 4505Marcel
Their not bad, they do look well made. Few issues though, the soles are the wrong colour though they shouldnt be two toned so that would have to be changed (painted), also the donor boots have the wrong sole stitch, the stitching is visable around the sole between the trim and sole again this would need to be changed or would fail lancer. The vynil trim around the toe is not long enough and is showing the underneith boot, so make sure he is aware of that and makes yours correct. And like you say they need the soles cut. They are also quite exensive, especially given they are not 100% correct. You would be fine for standard clearance I guess, but for lancer no. I would look at other options first before buying these in my opinion.
Fool
With the boot tutorial they are very easy to make yourself. And a lot cheaper.
