mxpxrobbie Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 why didnt my picture come up? I don't think IMG tags work... you have to click the Photo icon and paste there. Quote
Griffin-X Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Looks like you used old school board links . Just click the Image button and paste the link into it. Start? Heck, jump in and get crank'n! Quote
Dart Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Good stuff! BTW, the pic didn't show up because you're using two different cases for your img tags (first one's in all caps, second is in lower case - all need to be same). Quote
Flero Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Im in the same boat... Just got mine and dont know where to jump in lol. Quote
TB-7076 Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 I don't think IMG tags work... you have to click the Photo icon and paste there. I couldn't retore with tags either. first I thought it were the capitalized lead-in tag opposed to a lower case lead-out tag. But only the image button worked. Quote
BrewDiver Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012 I clicked.on the image link and pasted the photo link in the box and posted so... I dunno lol Quote
Flero Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 The photos have been showing up for me since i first saw the post a few days ago. Quote
elwyn5150 Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Start with the non scary stuff - strapping. Quote
StudioCreations Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Did the printed instructions come with your box? I beleive the instructions start off talking about "Plastic Preparation" (sanding down sharp corners, trim any plastic piece that's blatantly too long for your body size), then the instructions talk about "Sewing the Elastic Straps to theVelcro". Those two things should get you started down the right path in terms of assembly. Sewing the Velcro to the Elastic is generally the most tedious part of the armor assembly process and the most crucial (in terms of placing armor parts on your body for checking the fit-and-finish) Quote
4505Marcel Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Try to pull up some movie stills, hold the armour against yourself and mark everything with a pencil and see how things are fitting compared to screen used parts before cutting. The belt I recon is the hardest part to do, getting the drop boxes to the right length and hang straight. Quote
BrewDiver Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 im hoping to get a start on it this next weekend (busy with school) i am going to start with the assembling of the thermal detonator then cut the holes for the straps. Quote
