KS Helmet question

I'm new to this, working on my first set with the SC set and will be purchasing the KS helmet soon. My question is, would you suggest buying the pre-assembled version or going for the assembled one to start off with? I understand modifications will have to made either way, just want your input.

It's up to you really. If you wish to get it assembled go for it. I went with the kit and assembled it myself and it wasn't difficult to build. It's good practice in case I wish to get another scout helmet

How patient are you? It can be a bit tricky to assemble but if you take your time and use care, you can put it together and have it looking good in a reasonable amount of time.

as has been suggested, basic skill are required are required to put the kit together. There are plenty of threads on the website that you can use for reference. Even the assembled kit might require re-assembly, so why pay the extra $$$. Good luck and don;t forget to post pics of your build...

If you are comfortable putting together a model airplane and/or model car kit...then you should be okay. There are lots of examples and plenty of folks that can give you guidance. Also, if you have not already - get yourself a PhotoBucket account so you can post some pics... :)
