BananoPower22 Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Hey guys I still haven't ordered my SC armor - yet. I think I will this Thursday though, if I manage to get all the munnies. I haven't even ordered the darned armor and I'm all nervous, my mind's building up all these questions and I don't know what to do... so I just come to you guys with them questions. Does the SC armor comes with all the decals necessary for the armor, or do I have to purchase them separately? The nylon webbing, I've been reading around some threads and I see that what the SC armor brings is not accurate and it's not up to lancer standards, so what do I exactly need? I know this might be a little too much but which are the exact straps that I need? Does anyone have or can anyone make a list? Like... color, inches, etc? I think that's all for now... You'll need to paint the front chest rectangle gray and maybe detail the tank topper. Im mot sure since i have KS and had to paint these things on mine. The cotton webbing (1.5") can be picked up wherever you can get it best for your location. I'm not sure if jontay.com offers overseas shipping... Now remember, SC offers a 3 piece belt, so if you want to go for Lancer, you will need to mod it to look like a 1 piece. You can be approved with nylon strapping, but I think that cotton just looks better. Jim is right about the painting. Just the rectangle on the chest and the white on the topper. They should include the pinstriping, both black and a little red for the topper. Just breath..;lol..and take it easy. It's a lot easier to work on then you think. StudioCreations Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 Unfortunately the SC kit does not come with quite everything you need to finish out the armor. The red and black pinstripping is not included with the armor parts-list at this time, nor is the grey decal for the front chest indention. The 2 resin detail bits on the back of the Thermal Detonatopr are not included either. The cotton Webbing is nylon, but we hope to offer cotton webbing by spring. We just finished out our 300-foot roll of 1.5 inch wide nylon webbing we bought years ago, and have cotton webbing enroute now. All in all we hope to slowly rectify all these omitted items in the coming months, with a tentative deadline by May 1st to have everything included in our kit. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
