Dart Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I'm in the process of swapping my whites to off-whites (belt strap, chest strap and pouches) and I was wondering if I should change my white shoulder straps to off-white as well.
TB-6539 Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Depends on how much of a perfectionist you are I guess. In my personal opinion it may look a little "off" if everything is off-white and suddenly there's this bit of brilliant WHITE But you know... Whatever floats your boat
Dart Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 Thanks for your opinion, Sara. Anyone else have any thoughts?
4505Marcel Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Personally id leave the tops white, its supposed to be a bridge to connect the armour, you dont really want your eye drawn to that section to much.
Cyber Scout Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 There's no evidence of the duck cloth at the sholder bridges being off white, and i personally have not seen it on any screen caps i have ( and i spent more than a week screen capping till the early hours for the Lancer, if you what some great shots of Harison Ford pulling faces i'am ya man LOL) They are just the white duck cloth but naturally dirty. Hope that helps Andry
Dart Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 Thanks guys. Guess I won't be switching that bit out.
miqt Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Do you already have someone to do up your new pouches Andry? I might know someone who rocks at sewing those up Mike
Dart Posted February 18, 2012 Author Posted February 18, 2012 Already done. I made mine a bit bigger but I might take 'em in a bit if I find they're too big.
Griffin-X Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 This was a good question. I'm also upgrading and this is good to know.
