Soles are a little dark and you would need to hide the stitching with weathering, but there better than some ive seen

That's the kind I have. They are comfortable, and work nicely for basic acceptance. Although, if you want to go Lancer, after carving in the approximate design into the soles, you'll have to get rid of the stitching and two-tone color as well. It can be done though.

OK, which of these two? I found them at Wal-mart.

The ones on the left are called Wes, and the ones on the right are called Wheat something lol

 

I'm leaning toward the Wes ones. The sole seems to be more close in color, and there is no stitching.

The Wes boots look better. The soles are one color & there's no string to get rid of.

I agree - I'd go with the Wes. I'll have to check out a couple Wal-Marts in my area to see if they have that style.
