The great thing about Texas is when hunting season comes, a plethora of boots are available everywhere. I picked these up for $49. Please don't hesitate to post your thoughts and feedback. What do yall think?

Try posting pics in Flickr or similar website. Then right click picture & copy properties info. Then use insert image button on these forums and paste pics properties link.

That might work for you. It's how I link pics anyhow. ;)

They look like a great boot to work with... the price is right too!

You are after something like this:

So a repaint on the soles, perhaps a few slight adjustments on the notches in the sole and they should be a nice boot. (I was tinking round the notches off slightly, but they may not need it.)

Not bad at all.

That arch looks real good. A little use of the Dremmel here and there.

Maybe round off the inside of the small notches.

We're all trying to get as close to this as possible.

Keep us updated. You've got a good find there! B)

  • 1 year later...

These are the boots I wore on tour. (The one showing the side and sole)

The other pair are just an extra set I have laying around.

Do you guys think the sole pattern and everything will work?

I'm brand new to costuming so everything I do will be a first time for me.

Any thoughts or advice would help, thanks guys
