I'm trying to decide between a KS helmet and an MC helmet. I have about a 7 3/4" hatsize of a noggin so it's a bit on the larger side. I've been reading that the MC helmets are a bit on the more narrow side so I'm not sure if it would fit me or not.....what do some of you who have seen or owned both think especially in regards to having a larger noggin?

Hey fellow Star Garrison-CTX brotha! I have the KS helmet and it fits my large melon. It took a while to arrive, but I'm really happy with it. They are really good helmets. The MC helmet is more screen accurate in size, shape, and is a lot tougher. I think they look really nice too, IMHO. :)

Hey brotha! Thanks for the input. Have you seen the MC in person? I'm wondering if it would be too small/narrow to fit my head.

Hello and welcome Branden, i do think a K.S will fit you fine, the K.S is not as strong as an MLC which are very well made, but do make up for a more screen accurate look they are less square looking than the MLC and have a separate face plate as the original which gives it a nicer movie look.

I own a KS and I love it, and I've tried on an MLC. The MLC was a really snug fit, but felt sturdier then the KS, but was heavier as well. Comfort-wise, KS would be the safer route for you.

Go with the KS recommends the guy with the 7 7/8" noggin. Time can be an issue, but a nice and light helmet once you get it.

Thanks for all of the input guys I really appreciate it! Looks like I may go with a KS. Then I will just have to see about modding it after the fact...but I would like to get to that point first LOL.
