Kashyyyk Couple Southwest

looking good guys, nice to see a couple trooping together.

colleen - tbh, you look a little small for the cossie even with the mods, but the overall look is convincing enough. You cant always have everything eg I am a little fat for my KST!

small point on both yours and Todd's box placement. And it is small mind you. In the front, the distance between the smaller rectangle box and the longer/taller box looks a little wide. And the from the back, the spacing between the letter shaped boxes looks a little wide. As no fixed CRL exists at the mo for this cossie, I cant see it as clearance issues though.

Good goign both of yer!

Nate

Here are some of my new pics. I cut down the shoulder bells, the biceps, and the forearm armor, as well as the shins. Being a 95-pound, 5'6" weakling, makes it hard to look tough in armor. I already padded my shoulders.

Looks amazing, Colleen! You and Todd look great!!

Well worth the wait. :)

And, just like the camo paint style, not every Kashyyyk Trooper will be the same.

Cheers to you both. The two Kashyyyk Couples will have to meet up sometime. Perhaps C VI? B)

Thanks for posting the pics, Joe! Todd is approved. Does anyone know what number he is, in the BARQ approvals? Is he #18? He is CB-6864.

I'm still waiting for the higher up folks to get back to my GML on critique vs. approval for my costume so I can hopefully troop the balloon fiesta as well.

By the way, I lowered Todd's "A" boxes on cumberbund. Does anyone know how to get Plumber's goop off of fabric?

Don't really know of anything that would get the goop off of the fabric without damaging the material. You could weather it with a little bit of paint, mist it with black, and call it "battle damage." ;)

Yep, Todd is number 18. Are you approved yet?

No approval for me yet. No one has gotten back to my GML about my costume after I made the changes. I forgot about everyone trying to get costumes done for Halloween as I can't think past the balloon fiesta at the moment.

I have family in town from Maryland and the balloon fiesta was canceled due to rain when we tried to go today.

That leaves tomorrow morning as the last event for this balloon.

FYI, our GML gave Colleen approval the night before the last troop for the Balloon Fiesta. I helped him look it over and couldn't find anything that was glaringly obvious (Colleen was so meticulous with her Fett and Aurra Sing). Plus we have two other Kashyyyk troopers in the garrison to compare against, so she was golden. Considering how slight Colleen's frame is, she wears it really well!
