chimei Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 question: how are the top of the flaps typically attached? in most pics, i see what looks like the flap attached in the back of the pouch and it is simply folded over the top. however, the blu ray pics seem to show that the sides on the "top" of the pouch are top stitched. adding the flaps to my pouches this weekend. which should i go for? sewn together on the sides (harder to get into) or the fold over version (easier to get into)?
4505Marcel Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Id say if you can get away with it close in the sides, BUT like most I keep things in mine so need to be able to get a foam in and out easy to mount my sound board. The stitched sides will close in the usuall pouch sag. I may well close mine and just see how I get on with it.
chimei Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 i may put in a baste stitch - making it easier to just take out if it's a hassle.
