norcalscout Posted September 19, 2011 Share Posted September 19, 2011 Just added some small radio shack fans to the helmet for use with 9V batteries. Used hot glue to secure them in. chimei Posted September 27, 2011 Share Posted September 27, 2011 i'm considering fans as well...NYC summers can be disgustingly hot. i'm concerned about the noise. how loud are these fans? i know they are tiny, but in a small space, it could still make it more difficult to hear. how has it been for any of you that have the fans? c0wboi Posted September 27, 2011 Share Posted September 27, 2011 They aren't too loud.... The fans themselves are quiet, but right by your temples they are noticeable. I can still hear fine, though.
