How to harness...

Despite extensive searching, I cannot find anywhere that has explicit instrucitons on how to harness each piece of armor. I have an idea of what to do, but I was wondering if there is a set of instrucitons somewhere? I have the KS armor kit btw =] I have been trying to piece together in my head how each piece gets the straps attached to it, but I havn't been able to come up with anything, so i thoghut I'd ask. Also, I've heard a lot of debate about cotton vs. nylon... From what i have read some pieces are nylon, some are cotton... And it's a bit confusing for a new person like me =P Any info you guys could help me out with would be very much appreciated!

on my armor, you have a set of snaps on the inside of the front and back plate that hook to a black nylon strap that holds the two parts close together. then you have the duck cloth that wraps around the joint.\

No harness in my kit. It's a SC but all kits are similar (I think)... Unlike the Stormtrooper kit, TB armor parts are light and can hold together nicely with velcro patches loop on the inside, and hook patches sewn on your flightsuit.

If you've joined your local Garrison's boards, you should see if someone is hosting an armor party so you can bring your kit and work on it with some supervision. Another good thing is to find out when the next local troop is where there would be a quality scout trooping, and pick their brain, check out their armor and see how they put it together.

Nicole, I have found everyone does things a little differently, here are a couple of photo's on how I did mine, they may not be the best idea's but they seem to work okay. I used elastic and Velcro and my jumpsuit is a two piece.

I found after a couple of troops my Cummberbun fell down so I made a harness

This Armor is my sons (so its not approvable and its very old) but it is the same way I attached the top, I can seperate both front and back panels for storage if I wish.
