Codpiece attachment

hi...

will be building my cumberbund this week and am wondering about attaching the codpiece. what stitch is used?

 

is the codpiece "sandwiched" between the layers of the bund leaving no visible stitch, or is it placed behind the bund with a visible topstitch?

 

anyone have screencaps? or pics of lancer acceptable soft armor?

Mine is sewn in (sandwiched as you say). I just used the sewing machine,

I used a zig zag stitch on the sewing machine. The connection gets covered by the belt anyway so it's OK if it doesn't look pretty.
