Guest spires75
I purchased a Polymer Armory (or recast) blaster kit from another forum (Rebelscum) and now I am trying to get approved for 501st membership once my entire build is complete. This is a picture of what I received. I did have to shave the trigger down after reading that it would not be approved otherwise. I wanted to fill in some imperfections I missed and possibly add a magnet to the button part of the handle. I was thinking about adjusting the scope with actual lenses but I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to do that. I need to do further research on that. If anyone has a tutorial for it, I'd be all about it.
Witness
That is a Polymer Armory (or recast) blaster. With the trigger off and painted, it passes muster.

That's a relief, I bought that for show and display not as a costume piece. I have a feeling that it might be a little heavy to carry around in a holster. Any feedback on those who have one. Very heavy, I had to add velcro to the top of my boot connected to my undersuit leg to keep it from falling down on my leg.
Guest spires75
This was my original intent for the blaster.

Guest spires75
Jealous... Thanks, it's taken me a long time to collect what I have. Now the focus has changed to this which financially, isn't much better! I just put together a website detailing some of my collection and kinda blogging my experience with this new goal of mine. Continuing to update and put more pictures up. It is named From TB to TK if anyone is interested. It is still in its infancy...but I wouldn't mind feedback on that as well if you have the time. He has tons of vintage Star Wars toys. I collect mostly Stormtroopers and stuff and do a blog based on the figures (banner). Great site and overall work you are doing! Guest spires75
Finished, we'll see how it fits into the holster with the weight of it.
