Mud Flap thickness and source

I was able to find the suede for the patches as Tandy but they didn't have anything that would be right for the mudflap with out buying a whole hide. What should/can be used and where might I find it?

+ I'm about to buy some suede for the seat & thigh's but can't find the specific measurement's anywhere.

 

(My net fu is lacking, i'm hoping someone will point me to a post on here quoting exactly the correct specs).

 

Any templates/measurement's would be really appreciated.
