Helmet question

I introduced myself and now I'm ready to start asking questions a plenty I'm starting my Scout Trooper build..and I'm looking into the KS hard pieces. The Helmet from what I hear is one of the better ones to get. I've been reading over the requirements for Lancer status. What mods need to be done to the KS helmet in order to make it a Lancer helmet? Is is just the visor bolt mod? I'm not sure how they come to you if you get the assembled kit.
