Guest SolderMaster Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Confirmed, we have now a 7UK too, thanks TK337 from TDH 7UK,9US,10US,13US for now We still needing 8,11 and 12 US sizes Outstanding!!! I have emailed the size 7 owner requesting to pay for their shipping costs!! Thanks again, Giovanni!! Errr. now I read more carefully, how close is a size 7UK to a size 7 US?
Grumpy Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I think (I could be wrong) that the UK number is smaller than the US number. UK troopers can correct me if I am mistaken. For example: My US 13 shoes are a UK 12, and my wife's US womens size 10 shoes can vary between a UK size 7.5 to a UK 8.5. (Depending on the shoe.) Are ya confused yet? And don't even bring in the Euro sizes... I did, however, find these handy, dandy conversion charts for mens and womens shoes. Hopefully it will help when starting the ordering AFTER the shoes get created. Or at least it will give a rough idea of sizes. Enjoy!
CROW62 Posted March 1, 2011 Author Posted March 1, 2011 Errr. now I read more carefully, how close is a size 7UK to a size 7 US? Ivette has 7US that means 39EU and 6 1/2UK By earlier experience I use this link with a table cross reference that worked very well to me (0 complaints): http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html Giovanni
Guest SolderMaster Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 AWESOME!!! Had me scared for a minute there...lol Good deal!! Thanks Matt and Giovanni...I suppose I could have done that had my brain not farted. :-)
CROW62 Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 AWESOME!!! Had me scared for a minute there...lol Good deal!! Thanks Matt and Giovanni...I suppose I could have done that had my brain not farted. :-) easy man, easy!! we still needing 8, 11 and 12 sizes I checked today at the soles factory if they can scale the absent sizes, they said yes, BUT that process cost a thousand bucks each number, NO WAY!! (If you are going to make hundreds of pairs its a reasonable price, but this is not the case). We must to be a little patient, after some days more I will have to start with the only numbers that we have. Giovanni
darren1970 Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Yeah, hows it going Giovanni. I'm nearing the end of the build and can't decide whether to buy a pair of Wolverine's to modify or to wait for a pair of yours? Darren 1
Canadian_Scout Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Giovanni, the work you have done on those boots is amazing! Once everything is a go, I would love to get a pair of 13 US from you. Thanks! Looking forward to any progress pics you have!
Grimlock Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Giovanni, I would be interested in these boots as well, size 10 US. Definitely like to see progress pics and/or finished product.
CROW62 Posted May 23, 2011 Author Posted May 23, 2011 Hi brothers, the molds finally are on the customs, I assume this week I will go to the factory soles to ask final soles costs, I will update pics of the progress, and Darren, this issue will take me at least 4 weeks more to launch the Jangos, you have to decide based on schedule. Giovanni
CROW62 Posted June 5, 2011 Author Posted June 5, 2011 Finally and after many customs come in and come out messages and after pay 40% plus fees added at the normal 12% tax, the box came to me, here some pics, this is the first pair molds, the others are on the way: each pair in box weights 4.1 Kg, 70usd ship USA-Ecuador: the rugged inner sole detail, I loved: The front mold and the rear mold, well detailed, THANKS MARCELLO!! Next Step: Monday to the soles factory to negotiate minimal qtties and prices, that is the only factor to calculate final prices. Just a little bit more!! Giovanni
