Chex Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Helmet: KS (With MC snout, 3M bolt covers) Armor: SC Vest: LSFU Soft Parts: Custom made (With suede thigh patch and riding flap, leg straps.) Boots: Witness Gloves: Esprit Blaster: KS Balaclava: UA Nylon straps have been replaced using correct size white cotton webbing. Anything needing to be changed, just lemme know and I'll get right on it. Thanks for your consideration.
Witness Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Hey Mike, looks pretty good. You need to tighten up the bottom of the sleeves on your vest a bit. They are ballooning out a bit too much making it look like you are wearing shoulder pads. You could also move your pouches in about an inch on each side. But that's just being picky. The gloves look horrible... oh wait, n/m.
Chex Posted January 24, 2011 Author Posted January 24, 2011 Yeah I thought about moving the pouches in anyways, so consider that done in the next few days. Also, how would I tighten up those sleeves? Got the vest from LSFU and they ended up being too long, so I used some stitch witch to hem them up a little, but I'm not sure how to get them to go down. so they aren't popping out like that.
Chex Posted February 20, 2011 Author Posted February 20, 2011 Pouches moved in, sleeves fixed as best as I could to keep it from looking like I've got shoulder pads. *crosses fingers*
4505Marcel Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Hey Chex, can you please post a close up picture of you bicep armour showing the T bits.
Witness Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Mike, how many vertical stitches on your cummerbund? Can you show me a picture without your pouches? Don't have to wear it, flat cummerbund will work.
Chex Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 Wanna say seven. I'll check tonight and post a close up when I get home from job #2.
Chex Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Ok, here ya go. 7 like I thought. Disregard the circle crease as it's been in my armor bin and some how got under my belt.
4505Marcel Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Hey Chex, we still think the shoulder bells look too flared, I cant see one but I cant see clearly on the picture but do you have any elastic around the bottom of the bell and around your biceps, same as a TK would have. This would pull your shoulder bell and vest in a little and will give you a better line.
Chex Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 No..have them just never use them. Have a troop this weekend. Will add them and post pics this weekend.
Chex Posted March 6, 2011 Author Posted March 6, 2011 Ok, here it is. You know, I think I'll start using the straps on the bells all the time now. They actually made everything feel like it fit better with them on. Odd..
Chex Posted March 6, 2011 Author Posted March 6, 2011 And once I finish my ARC, I'll be dirtying up the Scout..not too dirty though.
4505Marcel Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 That now looks alot better bro, looks more fitted and clean
