Guest MikeC23
I'm modifying a pair of gloves that I got off of eBay, I've rotated the gauntlets, removed the zippers, made a pouch for the underside of the gauntlets and added the leather to the first two fingers, now I need to make the thumb patch, but it's difficult to find a decent shot of the patch. I'm wondering if anyone with a pair of actual Esprit gloves could snap a quick, flattened, straight-on pic of the thumb patch, so I can use it as a pattern? It doesn't have to be a professional photograph, even a cell phone would work, just so it's straight-on and flat. Or the measurements in centimeters, of the width and length of the patch, on a pair of large-xlarge Esprit gloves. I would really, really appreciate it. Thanks. Guest MikeC23
I have, but none of the shots of the thumb patch are straight-on, they're all angled, or turned to the side, and as a result I cant tell if the patch is just an basic oblong, or if it's wider at the base and tapered towards the top, giving it a slight tear drop shape. lonewolf
Yes I see what you mean, I suspect if they do narrow at the end it is by a very small amount, it doesn't appear they do.I would check out my gloves but they could be wrong. Sorry Mike.
