Acrylikhan
I noticed that someone mentioned a spraypaint job for the helmet. Any recomendations on which kind works best. For my own Rubies mod, I used Krylon FUSION. It bonds to plastics and vinyl EXTREMELY well. After a proper cure time, it can be lightly wet sanded with 2000 grit sandpaper and then NOVUS polished to a nice plasteel shine! BEFORE POLISHING: (right after painting) AFTER POLISHING: (note the reflections in the helmet!)
The Trooper
Thanks! I'll look into that. I have a old Rubies that is kinda beat up. I've been using it, but need to work on it a bit. Gonna work on the warping tonight, and probably touch up a few areas because of a troop tomorrow. Is their anything that can be done short term for scuffs and things like that? But for your troop tomorrow, it will look like battle damage
