mondas42
Hi I just got my new SC armour today, and I have a newbie question. When connecting the front and back plate at the bottom I know you use a piece of white elastic with Velcro sewn on it, but should the elastic go through the slot and then connect or just connect to the velcro. The only reason I ask is the elastic supplied is two inches wide but the slot is not even 1.5 inches. Do it just make the slot bigger? Sorry if this is a basic newbie question but I don't want to get it wrong. Martin
Arch27
Through the slot and connect. It should be OK to make the slot bigger.

Chex
Yeah I just made my slots bigger. I leave the shoulders connected, and I leave the strap on the back plate, so when I slip it on, all I have to do is pull the straps through the front slot and stick to the velcro. Wickedfluxx
I didn't make the slots bigger on my SC armor. Reason being it added some tightness where I could totally bypass the need for Velcro (although I sewed some on anyways). Now, I simply pull on the elastic to the level of tightness that feels comfortable and go.
