Hi i have made the belt up to the point when you rivit the last two parts to the webbing, the problem i have is there's to much plastic and i wanted to know if you can trim the ABS down. Also can you use velcro instead of riviting the ABS to the webbing?

If you need to trim some off to fit ya better, trim away. I'd still suggest using rivets since it's much more secure than just velcro. What I did for my belt was to rivet it to the webbing and also add velcro to the inside of the webbing and to the corresponding spots on my 'bund. That way, I don't have any belt droop and it just plain looks neater.

The Lancer qualifications state nothing about it being just one rivet on the belt. It's one rivet on the tank topper instead of the 2 which the SC instructions show.

Definitely use rivets, much more secure. I would also recommend using washers on both sides of the rivet. I used toothed washers on the sides, of the rivets, that connected directly to the webbing so that it was a little more secure fit. Flat washers I used on the sides, of the rivets, that connected directly to the ABS plastic.
