Hi guys.

I've been hunting through many website's looking for possible boots to base my KST boots on.

I'd be interested to hear if poeple thought these were OK

I know they'll need to be painted white with tan soles.

I think mine were something like this.. They are from www.payless.com

It was more the shape of the sole that I was thinkin of. It has that nice squared off 'space' at the arch.

it would probably do Darren. tbh, the CRLs are gonna be pretty loose on the boots cos the original base boot is now getting incredibly difficult to find.

the closest to the look I found in the UK is this boot: http://www.panoramic-imaging.com/view_obje...e=ffHWbnhHYJVig

link to the shop, its the PT05 boot: http://www.gladstoneboots.com/acatalog/Thr...ngth_Boots.html

hope that helps mate

Cheers Nathan.

I've found a pair of GBX shoes on ebay with the same sole type as Tom's GBX2 boots, but there is just too much detail on the sides.

Keep on lookin' ;) On a positive note, I've started pulling apart the camo's ( removing pockets etc. ).

Bought a 'possible' pair of donor boots.

Dremmelled out the arch and changed the shape of the tread. Then painted the boots white with tan soles.
