Lancer Belt straps used for drop boxes

I'm planning to modify parts of my costume to meet lancer standards. I found this off-white belting and would like to know if it's accepted for belt straps used for drop boxes. Photo below.

At the store (the right webbing for drop boxes and the left possibly for the straps attaching front and back armor):

Yes it is. As long as it's not nylon. It should be a cotton type material.

I bought the same off-white strap and used Rit color remover:

Really brightened the strap to an almost white white , rather than the natural unbleached color.

I just ordered some from an online store since my local Joannes was out. Got a couple yards of 2" and a few yards of 1.5" white cotton webbing.

Would you mind PM'ing me the store you ordered those straps from? I've been going nuts looking for 2 inch wide webbing to use for the main belt. My SC kit came with webbing but it seems to be all nylon which won't cut it for the lancer reqirements.

Does the main belt have to be off white or cotton, the gallery pics appear to be white nylon, about to make a new belt, is this acceptable for Lancer?

I believe the main belt can be white nylon. That's what usually comes with the kits. Of course, if you're going for the weathered look, you could probably get away with using an off white/natural colour.

Tom, the main belt is pure white nylon webbing. Only the drop box straps and the chest to back under the arm straps are cotton, and i believe they are off white according to the screen caps i have.

The Natural unbleached color is actually correct for the drop box strapping and the chest to back strapping.
