Sorry guys, I have been busy lately with work, I am also in the process of trying to finish my Yoda puppet for our Star Wars weekends, it has taken me two weeks to sculpt his teeth so the lid is still in the to do list.

I think I have overdosed on Biker Scout helmets and am waiting on getting the 100% passion back before I continue with it.

Steve Sansweet liked it, but also said his Biker Scout lid was much more flimsy and lighter so I suspect my 2mm ABS is not the same material as the originals.I tried to get some info from him but I don't think he ever looked at it the same as some of us guys would. He did suggest that I throw it about a bit for total screen accuracy!

Maybe you could talk to the "Prop store of London" guy?!

Yes Phil, if I am ever going to London I will definitely be asking to see the Lid.

No problemo, John. Take your time.

As for the thickness, 2mm is damn thick but I'd rather have a thicker dome than one that's flimsy. We don't need to recreate the helmet quite that much. ;)

Just keep us in the loop and excuse our gawking and drooling over whatever pics you post, hahaha!

Got to meet Steve last Sat at our SWW dinner. Very nice guy. Notice the lanyard he has on.

We presented him with a custom phase 2 clone bucket signed by the FLG and everyone that trooped SWW and gave it to him during the dinner as a thanks for all he has done for us.

Then I got him to sign the inside of my bucket.

Hijack done, Sorry John.

Some progress, at last,

I have reworked the faceplate, the eyes are less curved, much sharper and the nose section is refigured, hopefully to give a better vacpull. The back section now has eight and a half/nine indents, the visor has a deeper indent so the helmet will be much better than the last version.

Comparison shots of the last helmet and new faceplate,

Very nice improvements. Getting closer to that special thing I like about these helmets. The closest I've seen yet.

Thanks Carlsten, I know what you mean, it is just one of the nicest Star Wars helmet designs.

Latest update, I am going to be making a few kits hopefully this week, if the 2mm ABS pinseal arrives.

Is there anything you guys would need to see incorporated into the helmet kit. I am planning on an accurate decal set, if anybody knows where I can get accurate 3M Speedglas bolts or something similar I would be grateful.
