LED tank light

I was looking to order my MC kit and I saw that there is an option for an LED light for the tank. I am going to be shooting for lancer, so I need to know if this is required/expected, or if this is what appeared in the movies or not. Thanks in advance!

This was seen in the MOTM exhibit, but is NOT considered Canon or screen accurate, and would NOT be allowed for Lancer!!

The LED light on the tank is unacceptable for Lancer status.

For future reference, and this is for everyone, questions like these have been addressed many times before and are easily found either using the search option or a little digging through older threads. The Command staff is trying to clean up the boards, so if everyone could do a little research before opening a new thread that would help out. Thanks!
