Cyber Scout
"Thank's Sir David Sir!" it's had a few up grades since then, all done for this years trooping. I've just done a few pics 5 mins ago for ya see what you think now BTW i do like Darren commander Bac "NICE" lol. And to all the others the reason i chose an E-11 is there are references that Scouts used an upgraded E-11 as a sniping weapon with a longer barrel and a 6 shot mag giving them up a 3 mile range It's also quoted in Wookieepedia.I think the battle frount rifle looks like a MG because it easyer for the programers to do. Heres my pics

lonewolf
Looks very nice Martin, the number of times I have been asked why mine is smaller than the other troopers!
c0wboi
Looks awesome! I just received a HF DL-19 that I commissioned a few weeks ago. I plan on scooping it and using it for a sniper rifle. Can't wait to show it off!
Drakon
Far from accurate, but cheap and extremely light. I'm currently adding a detachable scope (magnetic), as well as numerous tweeks. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=6930 Love this weapon. Any chance you have the bits for sale!!! Are there any better pictures of what is seen in the game, e.g. screen caps, dimensions, etc.? You have to admit this is pretty cool. (a scout sniper taking aim at C5) I meet this scout at C5 and seeing that weapon up close was kick arse!!! I wish I knew what parts he used to build it. Very light weight. Here is one I made for non 501st events. Again canon scouts do not carry rifles, only hold out blasters. Just thought I would mention that again since I see that questios pop up alot from new people. Anyways here's my scratch build MG-15, can be made from $50-$75 depending on whats parts you want to use. Pretty light too. Would you mind listing the parts....or did I miss it somewhere? Everybody else thanks for keeping this thread alive. Time to revisit the thread. I have some pictures to post soon of the one I built. yodaawilson
I use a moded E-11 blaster, and it is very light works for me graet That's a great idea! I'm thinking of using that but adding on the MG42 stock... "Thank's Sir David Sir!" it's had a few up grades since then, all done for this years trooping. Heres my pics how did you modify the e-11. ie what parts (lowes/pvc?) did you add to make it a sniper rifle. thanks sorry i did not get a response from this post and wanted to repost it since ti was a while ago thank you. its a awesome rifle
elwyn5150
I haven't played Battlefront in years because my PS 2 died from cockroach poop. In the game, does the scope emit a laser-beam or is it just a normal rifle scope? When it fires, how long is the burst and what colour? lonewolf
The sniper rifle really goes down well with the public, they love big guns just like us, here are a couple of pics of the version I made a couple of summers ago,

Ranger Zee
Yes, the mysterious sniper scout is in the Dewback Ridge Garrison. He has graciously loaned me the rifle so we can make some copies for other scouts in the garrison. See here for build thread: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=8957
sir david
Hello just found these for you, alot of people are using the butt off the MG42, but if you look the B.F. Rifle it is a small triangle shape (may just the programers saving time) as i had a short amount of time to do mine i made the "L" shape butt. i will change mine before my next troop, If you look at the guy on the balconey at C.V. his like Lonewolf's and my own are modded E-11's i think thay make a graet starting block as you are still keeping with the S.W. style and heritage Me at my last troop and here's somting i found that might help hey guys! that battlefront scout in the game still pic has no knee armour!!!!!! Guest Kilo-Sierra-21
Hey Matt by now there are pleanty of reference shots for you to use however I came across this website a while back and found it excellent for moding kids toy guns...they are affordable and you will always have parts left over for modding another gun at a later time. http://toyguns4less.co.uk/categories/Toy-guns/ Also I would argue that scouts can and do carry rifles....just because they are not seen in film does not mean they don't exist....I would also argue that it could be a scout sniper that took a couple of pop shots at leia and wicket on Endor as you never see the shooter or his weapon. If I can come up with reference pics at all I'll be sure to send them your way
