Arch27
Just wondering for those of you in the US with a TPE rubber resin blaster (Niko's team) what paint products did you use with good results ? Thanks ! After the primer, I used Krylon Aluminum for a base coat and some flat black wrought iron paint for the finish. Given the nature of the material, the black paint tends to flake off when there's moderate handling. This is why I coated it with silver first. I have to touch up with black where it wears down too far (down to the base primer) I'm contemplating using Plastidip to keep a consistent, flexible finish. Witness
has anyone tried Krylon Fusion? For my resin blaster, I used Krylon standard grey primer, then Krylon satin black. The standard Krylon works great for resin, but it would probably flake on the rubber/resin. The Fusion may be a bit more resilient to flex. Prophet106
If you are using water-based brush on paints you can mix your paint with (slightly) watered down PVA glue which will make it more like latex. That should be able to handle flexing no problem
