Boro Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Very Cool bud like they way your pattern is how youd doing the brown pattern with a sponge ?
Lonescout Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Denny, are you using a sponge! ...looking good. Can't wait to see the final result!
Grumpy Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 More Kashyyyk Troopers!! Lookin' good!! Keep the updates coming!
Falcon-One Posted May 11, 2010 Author Posted May 11, 2010 Ok. now the Green. and yes I'm using a sponge. I may have to use some more brown, not sure. Denny
Dart Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Nice work so far. Geez, seein' more and more Kashyyyk Scout builds almost makes me want to get some armour myself! Maybe next year...
Mosi Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Looking good. You may want to fill in a bit of brown on the left side square brown areas so it doesn't look like you just used the same sponge to blot it on. Put a little more work on the front and get some color underneath the visor and around the goggle area.
Falcon-One Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 Looking better. 4 more views. Let me know what you think. Denny
Mosi Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Way better! I'm sure it will look pretty fantastic with some weathering. In addition to using the latex over the chrome and primer, I watered some of the brown paint down and fed it into my airbrush and misted over here and there, then used the dark primer for additional misting.
Falcon-One Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 Thank you Mosi, I'm not going to do the chrome thow. Denny
mrbungle Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 my method of painting is less is more. make your colors more solid. keep up the good work.
Guest Skupilkinson Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Colours are good mate but I'd spread it out a bit more TBH. I think you're covering too much of the base colour. Also try to make it a little more random. Keep at it though mate.
Falcon-One Posted September 23, 2011 Author Posted September 23, 2011 OK gang, I'm going to do some more painting this weekend. I'll post some more photos as I go. whis me luck. Denny
