chadD
So I'm half way through painting the pouches for my Kashyyyk Trooper. I am wondering how others have attached them to the vest. I was thinking Velcro would be the easiest, but I think kids would pull those off. They already try to pull other things off my other costumes. I've had kids run off with my pistols before. I was also thinkiing buttons, but you have to place those perfectly and it seems like a headache. Glue was another method I was thinking about. How do you guys do it? Falcon-One
I'm thinking about using snaps, another pain to install, but secure. Denny
Lonescout
I would use VELCRO and I have about 12 troops in my KST, not including SWW, 3 of those were High profile events in close quarters. I have not lost any and no one has tried to remove them from me. I think because of the uniqueness of the cameo job you will get more compliments and excitement of people admiring the cameo. For some reasons parents seem to be more cautious when I am in my KST than my Scout! I used the sticky velcro on the back of the pouches and covered the whole backside of the pouch. chadD post them pics! I need to get my pouches! chadD
OK, I'll use Velcro. You convinced me they'll stay put. I posted pictures in my build thread of how they look so far. They don't look much different than my last post but now they have a little color on them.
