BrotherHalo Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 As of Friday evening, the Kashyyyk "Scout" Trooper is an officially recognized costume for inclusion into the 501st Legion Pathfinder Detachment. Army Scout (Chris Romines), in cooperation with the 501st Clonetroopers Detachment, created a home at BikerScout.net for the Episode III "BARC Trooper" - an inaccurately named costume. After 2 years of development, the first Kashyyyk Trooper costumes were accepted into the Legion and recognized as Clone costumes. This all changed Friday evening when Pathfinder Detachment Leader Bob "BrotherHalo" Tyrrell worked to get approval from Legion Membership Officer, Thomas Spanos, and had Legion Membership Database Droid, Darren Blum, make the appropriate changes to acknowledge the Kashyyyk Trooper as a costume in the Pathfinder Detachment. Currently designated CB: Kashyyyk Trooper, the Kashyyyk Trooper is a Pathfinder at heart and we welcome all Kashyyyk Troopers into the Pathfinder family!

Witness Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I'm sure they could set you up with one. The MOD STAFF label supersedes any Pathfinder, 501st Member, Lancer or Kashyyyk Trooper label. I bet the forums are configured well enough they could make a moderator label that also shows the Kashyyyk label.

I've got it running on the MG forums, but we're running IPB3. As soon as I can find that mod and install it, I'll be getting that set up for you!

Yes, it is cool looking. I was looking last night at the member list and was looking for yours and thought the mods super seeded pathfinders and kst. I guess I thought right according to brotherhalo

Just kidding...............or am I? Does anyone have a larger version of the Kashyyyk Pathfinder logo that was in BrotherHalo's sig bar prior to the elections? If so, would we be able to use that? Is it "official" Pathfinder material yet?
BrotherHalo Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 Hey Matt! Yes, that logo is official. I'm going to be doing a patch run sporting that logo after I make a few modifications (Angelo suggested more camo to the bucket). You guys will certainly be getting your KST swag this year!

And possibly, (Just suggesting...a little nudge, nudge to the merchandise officer.), a camo shirt with a large version of the Kashyyyk Pathfinder logo on the back, and possibly use Tom's quote of "The few ,the proud, the Kashyyyk Troopers!" on the front. Possibly green or brown camo shirts (Appropriate British Desert Camo...no less! Properly dyed to the correct dark brown color... ), with the Kashyyyk Pathfinder logo and the lettering in green ? I'm not good with photoshop or anything computerish, so I can't suggest a mock up version. (Also, if this shouldn't be in this thread, could a MOD put it in the appropriate location.) I would definately be in for these and the patches, or what ever else. (Hopefully others would as well.) Sorry to ramble, just giddy about being a Kashyyyk Pathfinder, that's all.
