Hey guys,

I was looking around for pics of some of the current GG busts and found these!

Due for a 2010 release!!

Not bad at all eh? This bust could prove useful as a source of reference too? Particularly the glove. Seems that some were right when they suggested the glove had a seperate brown/camo band or padded sleeve where the greeb is attached?

I'll continue to try and find more pics.

LOL!

I didn't find any new pics, but I'll keep an eye out for updates showing the promo bust. We may learn something from the painted version??

Doesn't give specifics, just says 2010. I'll get the link and post it later for you guys to go see for yourselves.

Wow! Very very nice! If this is straight from Lucas' digital files, then this would be a great reference!

The glove greeble is way different!

not to discredit their work or sound like a complete a##hole , but i do not think it is accurate. the tank is the main thing jumps out at me and and some other stuff.

LOL!

I think Tom has a point though. The GG range is very nice and make superb collector items but just because it's licensed or endorsed by Mr L doesn't mean it'll be accurate.

Although I do think that the bust should be the final basis for settling the whole glove issue?

I really don't care about the licensing/endorsement from Lucas... because that in of it self is pointless. There's been licensed stuff that looks like s@#$.

What I am talking about is GG reputation of boasting that they digitally scan actors in costume, and use digital files from CGI generated characters to make their products. Of course there is a degree of error in scanning, and artistic license taken into account when cleaning the scan in the computer, and then the pattern finishing stages after the SLA is built.

If it's true they received raw files of the CGI character to make this statue, then there's a good chance this would be a good reference to augment the photos. But at the end of the day, it all comes down to artistic license, and personal taste.

The gun looks too small... and the helmet shouldn't have the vents in the back...
