Comberbund Questions.

Hey guys,

 

I want to make a start on my cumberbund. I can sew and follow patterns so I think I'm up to making my own.

 

Thing is, is there a pattern for these?? I asked in another thread but got no reply? I've seen one for a Biker cumberbund but they're not the same right?

 

Also, is there currently a color chart so to speak? A list of colors that we need to stick to or dye our material and straps to?

 

Eager to make a start on gathering materials.

solid white on cumberbund & strapping. ive only seen solid white and offwhite when i go to fabric stores.

 

if your going dirty you can use off white strapping and offwhite pouches

So has anyone drawn up a working pattern for it? Or a more detailed tutorial?

Here's the pattern I made for myself. Not official or lancer approved (but could be ), just my own:

 

Loosetoon's Cummerbund Pattern

 

Measurements listed on there are specific to me so you will have to adjust accordingly for your own size.

DOH! I just realized that you asking about a Kashyyyk trooper cummerbund. Please disregard. My pattern is for a regular scout.

I have the pattern sorted now. I'm just looking to see if there's a list of colors for fabric and straps that post KST's go for??

I'll ask my seamstress as to what the cloth we used was. I know it was 100% cotton as the Cummerbund has to be dyed!

Yeah. I need to keep that in mind. Just looking for pointers to get something that matches the texture?
