Mosi
I just got a pair of these and they seem great! Nice and comfy and light at about 24oz per boot.... and zips are rad I think I'm going to snag another pair of these for stomping in the woods and camping. These seem to run about 1/2 size large, but not bad at all. There is plenty of room in the toe box, but not so much that I'm swimming. The arch doesn't seem too bad, but I plan on removing the segmented tread patch in the arch to pop it up just a bit more.
mrbungle
boots for the KT are real hard. those will work if that is all you have. i would think about taking a bench sander to the arch but be careful and not go to deep. you are just rying to open the arch on the outside up alittle. does that make any sense?? Yeah.. it makes sense. I know they aren't as good as the GBX, but my foot does not fit GBX shoes very well. I have had two pairs of them in the past and they are just an awful fit.... blisters, etc. For the most part, people don't look at our soles much when we are trooping so I think it's okay. I will work some sanding magic to spruce them up though.
