Strofmos
This is the topic for the run of the Ammo-boxes for Kashyyyk-troopers, as seen in Chris (Vodika) WIP topic I have made these on Chris' request for his costume, but don't want to keep them from the other members on this board. As Chris said before, these boxes were based on the measurements Rogue Scout posted on these boards In an afternoon, I've made the masters from MDF and hardboard Next the mould was made After some trial and error with the foam-products, I've completed an set for Chris This is the set you'll get when you purchase these. The boxes are casted in black hard-foam. (poly-urethane foam) The foam has a density of 5 lb/ft³ (= 80 kg/m³), so an complete set weighs about 2 lb (1 kg). The foam can easily be sanded, bondo-ed (for small imperfections), primed and painted. As a suggestion: wash your boxes with some mild soap and medium hot water when you recieve them They will have a small layer of mould release onto them (part of the casting process) Put them aside until completely dry. I have a few important notes first: I will only take payment when your kit is ready to ship, but when you are on the "In progress"-list, please keep the funds ready. I'll make one set at a time, and it takes me on average between 1,5 and 2 weeks to get it completely ready. The reason is dual-fold: In order to keep the price of the moulding silicone low, I've chosen to cast the mould several times to create a complete set (instead of a large mould with several duplicates in it) Due the casting process, I can only cast the mould once a day. And I can't cast every day due to my work and other obligations I'll do my best to get the sets out a.s.a.p., but please don't mail me every other day to ask for an update. I'll post the updates on this page (in this post) To keep everything clear to everybody, I'll update the interest list with the following quotes: "awaiting confirm": I'm waiting for final confirmation before starting a set. "in progress": I'm currently in progress of casting your set "awaiting paypal": I'm waiting for the funds to arrive; as soon as they arrive, I'll ship out the set "shipped": the set in on the way to you So again, to be very clear: Do not send me money right away. If you want a set, send me an email with your name, address (incl. country and subject "Kashyyyk Ammo Boxes Run" Then I'll put you on the list. Now for the important stuff The price is 150 dollar US. This includes the complete set (non-painted) and shipping international. Paypal (and questions) can be send to: dvergison@telenet.be EDIT: removed TK-ID from info request Completed & Delivered List *********************** Lonescout - Darksaber212 - chadD - Marc M. - Boro - sgtski - darren1970 Progress List ************ luckyxero - "on hold": mrbungle - "on hold": laststeelmile - "on hold": Tags - "on hold":

Strofmos
for those still on my "ToDo-list": my apologies; I've been absent the past couple of weeks due illness and a personal situation. I'm still working on the set for luckyxero, but it should be finished by the end of the week. after that I'm hoping to pick up the the system again to complete a set every 2 weeks.
