Hi fellow troopers,

As some of you know i'm working on a Kashyyyk Trooper.

I have done a lot already, cutting and trimming is already done.

I will post some pics now and then to show my progress.

i spent a while today workin on the greeblies for my gloves. i still got to pick up some rubberized spray paint though, and paint them then atach them. so i gues that counts as a WIP Kashyyyk trooper haha. hey im tryin ^_^ by the way im kinda scared to work with bondo for the bicept peices. ive never worked with it before and dont want to mess up my arms after getting my armor. aaahh

It´s a fantastic kit and your paintings are great.

I like discreet Camo. Looks much better than big spots/points.

Unfortunately, here is no chance to get a accurate armor like this.

So, I can become only envious.

I am already curious on the result.

starting to look really good. my only advice on the camo is to take a sponge and go back and blot on some green. do the same with all the colors.

you do want some rough points and stuff.

nice goign vodika - coming along nicely

pat - great thing abt bondo? its easy to work with mate

and if you dont like it you can sand it away easy. although a mouse sander or beltsander would save you loads of time.

it isnt realy something you needed much with other cossies, but for the clone stuff - its almost an essential skill. Good thing is even idiots with 2 left hands and no thumbs its easy to work with.

No pics, just a small update.

Started putting the brown' colors on but i messed it up. Bad. I tried to make more 'sharp camo' like Mrbungle but i don't get the hang of it. Problem maybe is that i airbrushing.

Not much damage done yet, but lost a few hours in the process. :(

After looking closely at screenpics of the movie i noticed that the kashyyyk troopers have a more 'round leaf' style camo so i gonna stick to that.

Not yet, i hope thay arrive any day now ;)

BTW, can you try to explain in simple english (some words i have to look up sometimes :( ) how you did your camo?

Is there a standard like 'this is how your camo must be' or is it oké to try the camo like the movie?

i tried to make my camo as accurate as possble. now that being said. all i found was the right base color. so go nuts. but try to male it look as accurate as possible.
